SRAM Eagle PowerLock Chain Connector 12 Speed
About SRAM Eagle PowerLock Chain Connector 12 Speed
All-new Eagle PowerLock chain connector with FLOW LINK technology provides better chain-guiding and increased longevity. SRAM chain engineers developed PowerLock® as a tool free, sure and consistent way to connect their 10, 11 and 12-speed chains. While it does not require special tools for install, the especially tight tolerances of 10, 11 and 12-speed drive trains mandated that each PowerLock® is good for a one-time application only.
Features
Part of the SRAM Eagle integrated drivetrain
No tools necessary to install
From a long line of tough, light-weight chain engineering from SRAM
Technology
Eagle: Eagle technology represents SRAM's newest 1x drivetrain technology. Eagle is a lighter, simpler, more durable, and easier to use drivetrain. Eagle features all-new 1x components, engineered for even greater durability and performance while maintaining a significant weight advantage over other drivetrain solutions. Eagle technology also provides an expanded gear range of 520%, which is equal to 2x11 drivetrains.
FlowLink: Ultra-smooth chain inner-plates are completely devoid of square edges, resulting in a chain that engages the cassette and chainring with far less friction, for quieter performance and better wear life. The design allows a narrower overall profile that can withstand greater angles, and also allows for a flatter outer-plate, which means more consistent chain riveting and enhanced overall strength.
Flattop: To enable X-Range gearing technology, SRAM developed a narrower chain. The unique link shape of Flattop technology not only allowed for a wider gear range, but also results in quieter drivetrain operation and increased chain strength and durability.
Specifications
Compatible Speeds: 12 Speed
Chain Connector Type: PowerLock
