About Park Tool BB Bearing Tool Set (BBT-30.4)
The BBT-30.4 is designed to install and remove the bearings and bearing cups used in most bottom bracket systems that feature a 30 mm spindle, including many BB30 and PF30 systems. The included BB30 bearing remover installs through the shell to easily drive out bearings. Features extra length to work with wider fat bike bottom bracket shells.
The BBT-30.4 also includes a set of bushings that can be used in conjunction with a cup press (such as the HHP-2 or HHP-3 — sold separately) to quickly and precisely press new bearings into the bottom bracket shell.
Features
Fits press-fit bottom bracket bearing systems with a 30 mm spindle, including some: BB30, PressFit 30 (PF30), 386EVO, BBright™, and PF121
Some examples of compatible bottom bracket models include: SRAM® PF46, SRAM® PF42, and Race Face® Cinch®
Note: Press fit bottom bracket systems that utilize an inner sleeve may not be compatible with the BBT-30.4 removal tool, due to the clearance required inside the bottom bracket shell. Use the RT-1 for these systems.
