This compound is often used for race use, and has an immense amount of braking power, will withstand mud and dirt, and has a high resistance to fade. Because of the aggressive nature of this pad, it may wear out faster than their less aggressive, Standard Compound if put under heavy use. Galfer generally recommend the Pro Compound brake pad for race use or for a rider looking for an aggressive brake pad.
