Black Chili Compound: With Continental's unique tread compound, which is produced only in Germany, they have revolutionised the sport of cycling. The latest polymers as well as specially developed carbon black particles and filler materials guarantee unique performance, be it on a road, gravel or a mountain bike, for time trialling or downhill.

Vectran Breaker Puncture Protection: Vectran is spun from liquid crystal-polymer. This way a thermoplastic, multiple-thread yarn is created. As a comparison: This partially crystalline fabric is more cut-resistant than aramide and its tensile strength is five times higher than that of steel. A Vectran breaker is lighter, more flexible and effective against cuts than a comparable nylon breaker. Without effecting rolling resistance.
