For those first cool fall days or the last remnants of spring, the Pro Thermal Mid LS Jersey gives you some extra warmth. The secret is in the fabric. Compared to Castelli's standard Warmer fabric, they've lightened it up a touch and added some spandex/elastane for more stretch. It has a close-to-body aero fit without feeling too tight. It's a performance piece for every ride, with Castelli's drop-pocket construction and YKK Vislon zipper for easy one-handed adjustment. Why would you want a less warm thermal jersey? One situation is in conditions that are too cool for a short-sleeve jersey and it just feels better to cover up and add this bit of warmth. Another situation is a higher-intensity ride where it's easy to overheat. About Castelli
Castelli are an Italian clothing manufacturer based in Fonzaso, Italy. In 1876 Vittore Gianni opened a clothing shop in Milan where he created clothing for AC Milan, Juventus, the Milan Ballet and cyclist Alfredo Binda. In 1935 Armando Castelli joined the business and four years later bought the company. He kept these high profile clients and continued making cycling clothing for riders including Fausto Coppi. In 1974 the scorpion logo was created and Castelli was born. Since then they've been at the forefront of innovation creating the first lycra shorts, coloured shorts and use of sublimation.
